A 5-star hotel with some surprises. I was quite surprised by the experience here, as the service didn't quite feel like a 5-star hotel. The conference room was very small and felt packed for our group, and the entryways are quite narrow. The biggest issue was the elevator—it is super small. I actually chose to climb the stairs for many floors just to get to the rooftop for lunch rather than wait! On the positive side, the food was excellent. The lunch they served was very Vietnamese and delicious. For the light meals during the break, they provided fresh fruit and tasty cakes.

A welcomed change from our standard chain hotels. Felt like entering a heritage museum. :) The welcome drinks, the welcoming reception staff and the lovely looking foyer made us feel welcomed immediately. I got a room on the 11th floor with a private jacuzzi on the balcony which was a nice feature for a non-suite room. The other crewmember were put on different floors. The hotel is full of traditional decoration themed Vietnamese-Industrial with loads of items from old shipyards and other local spots. The bed was comfy, the bathroom had a japan-style ex/bidet, the rooftop bar and pool area were amazing but unfortunately closed at 1:30 so we had to get our sundowner drink later indoors..but nevertheless a good spot to hang out. Breakfast on the 12th floor next day was amazing and luckily included in our package. Very nice and helpful staff. Lots of things to see and do in walking distance.. as it was just a short business trip, I was sad we had to go again the next day but I‘d definitely book it again for any private trip to the city. Very happy customer. 😊

Absolutely outstanding stay – we loved every moment! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the second we walked through the doors of The Myst Dong Khoi in District 1, we were made to feel truly welcome with a beautiful greeting, refreshing welcome tea and delicious snacks. It set the perfect tone for our entire stay. We immediately loved the stunning architecture of the building, which combines elegance and charm beautifully. The rooms are absolutely beautiful too — elegant decor with lovely small touches that make them feel special and thoughtful. We particularly enjoyed the in-room spa/bath experience, which was such a relaxing highlight. The rooftop pool and bar were outstanding! It felt like a wonderful escape from the chaos of the city, peaceful and relaxing, with great swimming in the pool and comfortable lounges to unwind. The food and drinks throughout the hotel were excellent, and the included breakfast was a solid 10/10 - fantastic variety and quality every morning. As a bonus, the afternoon high tea was delicious and a lovely treat. What really stood out was the staff — professional, friendly and always going above and beyond to provide excellent service. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Saigon. Highly recommend The Myst Dong Khoi for anyone wanting luxury, charm and fantastic service in a perfect central location.

We recently stayed at The Myst Dong Khoi in Ho Chi Minh City and honestly could not have loved it more. From the moment we arrived, the service was incredible. Every staff member made us feel so welcome and cared for, and the whole hotel has such a beautiful atmosphere. The food was amazing, the rooftop pool and bar were absolutely stunning, and it truly became a place we looked forward to coming back to every day. A special thank you to Hun and Tung up at the rooftop bar and pool area (I hope I’ve spelt your names right!). You both made our stay so memorable with your kindness, warmth, and genuine care. We were genuinely sad to leave and gave them both huge hugs goodbye. That says everything about the experience we had here. If you are staying in Ho Chi Minh City, I could not recommend The Myst Dong Khoi enough. Beautiful hotel, amazing people, and such a special experience we will never forget. My only negative to say is the pool closing at 7pm was a let down. I love a night swim. It would have been amazing to swim when things “ cooled down” a little.

Really good hotel with nice staff. Great ambiance and decorations, although some resulted in sacrificing comfort (e.g. wooden "couch" in our room. We stayed in the verdant room and really enjoyed the balcony and Jacuzzi tub. Also loved the breakfast and the bar upstairs. The spa was pretty nice too, especially since the staff took such good care of our group. Location is super good for enjoying District 1. Thanks to the Myst team for a nice stay.
